I was cleaning up some old presentation files the other day when I noticed something interesting
There were spelling errors in my Vibe Coding slides from last month
Not just one or two but several scattered throughout different sections
My first instinct was to immediately fix them all
But then I paused and thought about what this actually means in the context of Vibe Coding principles
We often get so caught up in perfection that we forget what really matters
In traditional software development spelling errors in documentation would be unacceptable
They would signal carelessness or lack of attention to detail
But in Vibe Coding we operate under different principles
The focus shifts from perfect code to clear intentions and working systems
As one of the principles states Code is Capability Intentions and Interfaces are Long-term Assets
The spelling errors in my slides didn’t affect the actual Vibe Coding work we were doing
The AI understood our intentions perfectly regardless of minor typos
The system still functioned the capabilities were still delivered
This got me thinking about how we measure quality in this new paradigm
Is it about perfect spelling and formatting
Or is it about clear communication and effective results
I remembered another principle Avoid Data Deletion
Instead of deleting those imperfect slides I kept them as they were
They became a valuable reminder of what actually matters
Sometimes we spend hours polishing presentations that could be spent on refining intentions
We obsess over formatting when we should be focusing on clarity of thought
The beauty of Vibe Coding is that it allows us to prioritize what truly moves projects forward
Now when I create slides for Vibe Coding sessions I worry less about perfection
I focus on capturing the essence of our intentions clearly
The AI doesn’t care if I spell configuration with one f or two
It cares about understanding what we’re trying to build
This doesn’t mean we should be sloppy or careless
It means we should be intentional about where we direct our energy
Perfect slides don’t necessarily lead to better Vibe Coding outcomes
Clear intentions and well-defined interfaces do
So the next time you notice a spelling error in your Vibe Coding materials
Ask yourself whether fixing it will improve your actual results
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is leave the error there
And focus on what really matters in your Vibe Coding journey
